Changes in the business environment have brought about several transformations that contribute significantly to increased concern about employability. Another current concern is to verify whether graduates possess competencies, demanded by the job market. Data reveal that employers believe soft skills are more important than hard skills. In view of this, the objective of this article was to identify which social competencies a supervised internship provides the students from Faculdade de Tecnologia de Catanduva (FATEC). To develop this study, the analyzed problem was: What social competencies are developed along the internship? What benefits does the supervised internship provide the students and the organizations? The research was described according to its applied nature, with a quanti-qualitative approach, of descriptive objective, and with a case study. The instrument used for data collection was a semi-structured questionnaire. This was developed in two stages, being the theoretical part and a field research with 39 (50%) student-interns from the Business Management, Information Technology Management and Industrial Automation courses. For the validation of the instrument, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, with a value obtained of 0.96. As a conclusion, it was found that the students of the institution hold all the competences analyzed, some of which are listed as the most sought after by the main world employers until the year 2025, according to information released by the World Economic Forum. Furthermore, the results obtained reveal that the most developed competences by the participants in the survey are problem solving and interpersonal relationships.
