SIMULAÇÃO IN SITU PARA O ENSINO DO RECONHECIMENTO DA SEPSE EM UMA UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA

Resumo

Resumo 

Objetivo avaliar o conhecimento dos profissionais de enfermagem baseado em simulação in situ sobre o reconhecimento de sepse.  Estudo descritivo, quantitativo, realizado em um hospital do interior do estado de São Paulo com profissionais da equipe de enfermagem da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva. Os participantes foram submetidos a um pré-teste para avaliação de conhecimento em seguida aula expositiva dialogada e posterior simulação clínica. Após 30 dias foi aplicado o pós-teste. Houve contribuição da simulação na aquisição e retenção de conhecimento dos profissionais de enfermagem. A média de acerto no pré-teste foi maior na categoria enfermeiro (63,89%). Ambas as categorias obtiveram maiores taxas de acerto após 30 dias da estratégia de ensino. No entanto, a categoria técnico de enfermagem apresentou ganho significativo no pós-teste (p* <0,01).  Conclui-se que o uso da simulação in situ proporcionou ganho de conhecimento aos profissionais de enfermagem, contribuindo para reconhecimento precoce e minimizando a mortalidade.
