Abstract

The present text brings a brief study on the work of Arthur Schopenhauer, "The Art of Being Right", in which the author presents 38 stratagems to overcome an argument. By establishing a comparison between the techniques presented and the environment of social networks, it is possible to verify how this work is current, justifying several social behaviors inherent to human life and amplified by the digital technologies of which We make use, in which the search for truth is supplanted by the need to be right, so as to always beat the opponent. In this sense, we can attribute to the absence of an education supported by philosophical concepts, which lead us to an ethical and empathic life, the triumph of the proposed argumentation, ironically, by Schopenhauer.
